Coming SoonBoard Member Essentials is a practical online course designed for volunteer directors serving homeowners associations, condominium associations, and planned communities. Built on the FOAM (Fundamentals of Association Management) framework, this self-paced program teaches board members how to confidently govern their communities without industry jargon or prior experience. Students learn fiduciary duty, governance structure, financial statement basics, insurance fundamentals, meeting procedures, vendor oversight, and how to work effectively with management and legal counsel. The course includes more than six hours of structured video instruction, downloadable quick-reference resources, knowledge checks, practical assignments, and a final assessment with a Certificate of Completion. Designed for newly elected and experienced directors alike, the program delivers real-world guidance that can be applied immediately in the boardroom.
